What is Avalon?

The world of Avalon is a representation of how quickly terror can destroy even the best of people. Even though the decay and corruption of Lord Death is what destroyed the physical Avalon, the mistrust and prejudice between the Priestesses and Sorceresses is ultimately what leads to the main conflict. Both sides blame each other, with the priestesses believing the battle against the druids turned the Goddess against them, while the sorceresses see themselves as the only ones willing to make the difficult choices. These fear and resentment festers at the heart of those in Avalon, ensuring that their civilization will not survive the curse.
