Importance of Neve

Neve is a self-trained sorceress who is looking for the Ring of Dispel so she will be accepted into the school of sorcery. Later, it is revealed that her Auntie hid the truth about her past from her, leading Neve to believe that the sorceresses may be holding her mother’s Immortality, or a record of her life taken from blood after death. Personality wise, Neve is the exact opposite of Tamsin and refuses to let rejection dampen her hope for the future. This allows her to break through Tamsin’s fear of being abandoned and become her first genuine friend.
