Larry is a character in the story, My Oedipus Complex. In the story, Larry's love for his mother interferes with his love for his father. Used to being the center of his mother's attention since his father went to war, Larry resents his father's return and comes to despise him. Larry's father, exasperated by his behavior, treats Larry like a child. It is only after Larry is faced with a new threat, a little brother, that he and his father are able to join sides.
