In The Shattered Mirror, Kaleo is the vampire that Sarah most wants to hunt down and kill at the beginning of the book. He takes a girl that has already been marked by Nikolas and destroys her mentally so that she lives in a complete state of paranoia most of the time. He also killed Nissa's dad then turned her into a vampire, too.
