Describe Aman’s personality

Aman Khan is the fourteen year-old best friend of Matt, and the son of Mum (Mrs. Khan). Aman is fiercely loyal of his family, especially his Mother who went to jail on his behalf for stealing food. Aman is a kind, perceptive, and courageous teenager who, while living in Afghanistan, finds a stray dog amidst the background of violence caused by the Taliban. Aman befriends the dog. He, his mother, and the dog leave Afghanistan for safety in England.

Aman is saddened to learn the dog belongs to the military, but he becomes heartened by how well Sergeant Brodie and the others love dogs. Safe in England under asylum for six years, Aman and his mother are scheduled to be deported to Afghanistan. Aman places his faith in Matt, Grandpa, and Brodie to prevent this from happening. His trust is well-rewarded.
