Mr. Plum is the father of the Plum twins and Florence Horvath. Wealthy as the result of inheriting a thriving business from his father, Plum molested all of his daughters starting when they were about 13 and is revealed as the murderer of Florence Horvath at the end of the novel. Usually drunk and always seen with his wife, Kelly Cruz tells Jesse that Plum doesn't seem to be "all there," but whether this is due to drugs, mental illness, or something else she doesn't know.
