How is the theme of teamwork illustrated in Chapters 20 through 23?

Caring for the baby panther highlights the importance of teamwork to accomplish a goal. Mrs. Starch even refers to Smoke as being on her team. Twilly needs her to take care of the baby panther, and they need Duane to track the mother panther so that they can reunite her with her cub. Nick and Marta are now on the team. Nick stands up to his responsibility on the team when he does not hesitate to help Duane Jr. when he goes to his house to hide. Nick shows that he is now willing to put the welfare of the team ahead of his own wishes when he listens to Mrs. Starch and removes his sling.
