When Anderson is invited to tea by a prospective friend, she is pleased to have the opportunity to connect with another student at Georgetown University. She wonders how the two of them will get along, when they come from such different backgrounds. The young woman who invites Anderson to tea comes from a very privileged existence, while Anderson is aware of her modest rural upbringing.
