Who is Alexander Bobrov from Russka: The Novel of Russia and what is their importance?

Alexander Bobrov is Nikita's grandson. He is alo the cousin of the Countess Turova. An official in the government of Catherine the Great, Bobrov has problems living within his income. The countess tricks him into marrying Tatiana and because of his involvement with the Freemasons, he is imprisoned at the monastery in Russka. Bobrov isn't released until after Catherine's death. Tatiana and Alexander have four children. Alexander Bobrov dies in 1825.
