What is the theme in Rule 34 by Charles Stross?

Artificial Intelligence is another theme in the book. The creation of an artificial intelligence has been discussed and written about for many years. In the beginning, when movies were made depicting artificial intelligence, it was thought that one day machines would be created that could educate themselves further. Science fiction writers enjoyed both outcome possibilities. In one scenario, computers remained in human control and treated as slaves, and in another, the artificial intelligence soon realized that the largest problem our planet faced was the human beings on it, and the Earth would be better off without us.
