The Player says that they have one price for watching the performances and one price if the audience wants to participate in the performance. When Rosencrantz asks what these prices are, the Player tells the Tragedians to line up to be seen by Rosencrantz and Guildenstern. Then he asks if Rosencrantz sees anything he likes and Rosencrantz innocently asks what it is that they do.
