What are the motifs in Rome Sweet Home: Our Journey to Catholicism by Scott Hahn?

Romance is a recurring idea in the story. The final stage of the book is a romance story. However, there are really two romances. The first romance is between Scott and the Catholic Church. Scott literally falls in love with the Catholic Church and decides that its doctrines are not only true but beautiful as well. As he gets to know the Church he only becomes more and more excited about joining Her ranks.
