Who is Helene Ambrose?

Helene is Chase's half sister. She s the daughter of Chase's father and Chase's stepmother. She is a small girl who is not even in kindergarten yet. She is terrified of Chase because he once ripped off her teddy bear's head in front of her while she cried. Throughout the novel, he consistently makes an effort to be kind to her and play with her dolls. By the end of the novel, she begins to forget about who he once was and instead begins to love him for the great brother he is.
