What is the theme in Reservation Blues by Sherman Alexie?

Indian identity is another theme in the book. Some of the non-Native American characters see other principle characters, who happen to be Native Americans, as caricatures. These non-Native American characters see and think in stereotypes. Betty and Veronica present the best example of such characters.
