Marcellus is a giant Pacific octopus. He lives in an aquarium, and he was captured from the middle bottom of the sea before he was imprisoned. The daughter of the guy who runs the aquarium, Terry, named the octopus Marcellus McSquiddles. He has a life span of four years (1,460 days). He was brought to the aquarium as a juvenile. At the most, he has 160 days to live. Then he will die and his captivity will end.
