What does Evangline say and do to Mare after Evangeline becomes betrothed to Cal?

After Evangeline becomes betrothed to Cal, she sits next to Mare and digs her fingers into Mare's arm. She stops short of drawing blood, but creates bruises. Then she tells Mare that if she gets in her way, she will kill Mare slowly.
