Comment on style/language

Sine the majority of the characters are American, the prose used to narrate the events of the novel and Alex's thoughts and emotional turmoil reflect an American style of English. On occasion, the particularities of British English can be evident when the British characters speak with words such as "bloke." The language, particularly the dialogue, also reflects the youth of the major characters, as they often speak in animated prose and swear in their interactions.
