What are Amanda and Elyot arguing about when Elyot first calls "Sollocks?"

Amanda is reminiscing about what a good person Victor is, even if she does not love him. Hearing Amanda speak of another man ruffles Elyot's feathers and he rudely tells her that he is tired of hearing about Victor. His sharpness finally angers Amanda and she is about to verbally retaliate when Elyot realizes that they are falling into the trap of bickering over nothing.
