How did Sultana and her mother-in-law finally make up?

Sultana's mother-in-law did not want the scandal of Sultana initiating the divorce, so she made amends with Sultana. Later, when the king chose not to punish Kareem's brother, Sultana's mother-in-law came to believe Sultana had gotten her father to use his influence with the king to save him. Peace was made between Sultana and her mother-in-law.
