In Pride and Prejudice, Mr. Collins and Mrs. Bennett speak about the usual....Mrs. Bennett's unmarried daughters. Mrs. Bennett would like to marry one of her daughters to Mr. Collins, and Mr. Collins well understands his position with the Bennetts. Though a pastor he will inherit everything that the Bennetts currently live with. So, it behooves Mrs. Bennett to make nice, and Mr. Collins takes advantage of it.
