Who is Detective Sergeant Alphonso Rivera from Practical Demonkeeping: A Comedy of Horrors and what is their importance?

Rivera has been planning an undercover sting to catch The Breeze and use him to get evidence on higher-up drug dealer contacts. Rivera's plans are foiled when The Breeze disappears. Rivera thinks his cover is blown, but really The Breeze has been eaten by the demon Catch. Rivera nearly foils the good guys' plan to send Catch back to hell, but Mavis Sand saves the day by conking him on the head with a baseball bat.
