Who is Mrs. Schultz (Howard's mother) from Pour Your Heart Into It and what is their importance?

Howard's mother does not figure into the action of the story but she is noted for her unfailing love for her family and her hopes for better lives for her children. Howard's mother does not work outside the home and dedicates her life to her family. The close financial circumstances constricting the family rule Howard's mother's perspective on life and she struggles with the risks that Howard takes when he eschews regular employment for entrepreneurial risks.
