Grandma is Sharon's mother. Grandma has money and often bails the family out with the money. Grandma loves to shop and is often arguing with Sharon about the way Steve leads his life. Grandma also spends a lot of time in the bathroom that she shares with Todd and Kate when she comes to stay with the family for a month. Grandma is a pain and gets on everyone's nerves, but in the end, she gets through to Kate about the good and the bad things to happen to people in life.
