Based on the focus upon it in the first chapter of the book, what type of lifestyle is that of Penny Falucci's?

Based on the focus on Penny Falucci's life in the first two (2) chapters of the book, it can be said that other than the absence of her late father, Penny's lifestyle is fairly normal. She has questions that remain unanswered about the circumstances surrounding her father's death, and that might leave her a bit confused. But for the most part, Penny lives a normal life with her mother, her maternal grandparents, Pop-pop and Me-me; and her dog, Scarlett O'Hara.
