Did Pedro Paramo have a happy marriage?

Pedro's first marriage was arranged.... economically beneficial. I wouldn't describe it as happy. His second marriage to Susana was his life's dream, unfortunately, she didn't feel the same way. Susana openly mourned the death of her first husband until her own death. Thus, I don't believe we can describe either of Pedro's marriages as happy.
