Importance of Family Robes

The family robes have specific colors and designs that represent the House affiliations of the family. For example, the Harlows wear gray and white. Emmy does not choose to wear the family colors when she first arrives. The fact that she does wear them for the final party of the Gauntlet is a symbol that she has embraced her role in the family.
