Who is Cynthia Pollard from Pattern Recognition and what is their importance?

Cynthia Pollard lives in Hawaii. She has been divorced from Wingrove Pollard for quite a while, and though they've been living in separate states without contact, she still wants to know what happened to him. Cynthia has a variety of friends who dabble in the fringes of life after death, and frequently insists that the dead remember, although Cayce can't understand what they remember or how. She is convinced that Wingrove is trying to contact his daughter, and that he has a message of some sort for her. She emails Cayce several partial transcripts of EVP's that they have discovered.
