What is NAACP

NAACP, or the National Association for the Advancement of Negro People, was an organization founded in 1909 by W.E.B Du Bois. The NAACP was involved in many of the demonstrations surrounding the Civil Rights Movement, including the Montgomery Bus Boycott.
