Who is Soane Morgan from Paradise and what is their importance?

Soane Morgan is Dovey's sister. She is married to Deacon Morgan. The couple had two boys, Easter and Scout, who were both killed in the war. Soane is aware of her husband's affair with Connie, and she goes to the Convent while pregnant with a third child, possibly to confront her. Soon after that visit, Soane miscarries. Years later, Connie brings Scout back to life, and Soane loves her for this gift, even after he dies in the war. Over time, Soane and Connie become good friends, and Soane is present when Connie is killed.
