Othello What reasons does Iago give for his hatred of Othello and in what line are they given? Asked by bookragstutor on 20 Aug 10:23 Last updated by Jill W on 16 Aug 11:25
In Act I, Scene I, Iago is upset that he's been passed over for promotion. He's also upset that a Moor (Othello) has been placed in a high ranking position. To top it all off, Iago believes that Othello has had an affair with his wife.
