Where does Kirsch meet with Langdon before his presentation? Why?

Kirsch has Winston instruct Langdon to enter a 3-D spiral sculpture, where Kirsch then comes in and appears face-to-face with him. He does this in order to stay hidden before his big reveal and to ask for Langdon to meet with him and discuss the ramifications of his discovery after the speech.
