Opening Belle is split into 41 chapters, most of them being roughly equal length, about 5-10 pages per chapter. The notable exception is Chapter 35, which clocks in at just over 20 pages. That chapter is bookended with Belle sitting aboard her departing flight to France along with the rest of her family. The majority of the chapter's content, in-between the two brief scenes aboard the airplane, is Belle's flashback from yesterday, where she recalls the moment when Henry showed her the elaborate penthouse apartment he had assembled for her.
