Oona's mansion in Park Slope is a recurring setting as Oona's jumps in time. She purchased the house with money from her savvy stock market trades. The first time Oona's in the house it is unfamiliar and jarring. As she experiences more years Park Slope feels safer and becomes a respite where she can process drastic time shifts peacefully.
