Why does Main Squeeze choose to film one episode in Cheshire, Ohio in the novel, One to Watch?

Cheshire, Ohio is Bea’s hometown and where the episode “Homecoming” is filmed for Main Squeeze. It is here that Bea’s family meets with the suitors with each of her brothers choosing a man to talk to (with the exception of Tim who takes Cooper and Nash out to the cow field and leaves them there).
