Scott Turow is a noted attorney and author of several novels related to the practice of law. In this book Scott serves as narrator and principal character. Turow is an instructor of Creative Writing in the English Department of Stanford University in California in the early 1970's when his love and fascination for the law prompts him to take the LSAT (Law School Admissions Test) in 1974.
