What is the central conflict of the story, and what kind of conflict?

-What kinds of conflict (internal--man vs. self, external--man vs. man, man vs. society, man vs. nature) noticed in the book? How did they affect the main character?

When 13-year-old Georgie Burkhardt’s sister Agatha goes missing, the family’s worst fears are confirmed when the sheriff finds a corpse wearing Agatha’s ball gown. Georgie, however, doesn’t believe Agatha is dead and sets out on a journey to find her sister. There is a man vs society conflict at play here.
