In Chapter Twenty-Eight, why does Bri go to Sal's right after her interview with DJ Hype, and what happens there?

In Chapter Twenty-Eight, Bri goes to Sal's right after her interview with DJ Hype because she is so upset about what happened on the radio and she needs to talk to Trey, her brother. When she talks to Trey, he criticizes her for having taken the bait and reacted so badly to Hype's provocations. Bri gets very upset and tells Trey she is just trying to do her bit to save the family, and Trey tells her he loves her and she is not a burden to the family.
