In Chapter One, how does Bri think her mother feels about her rapping?

In Chapter One, Bri thinks her mother does not understand how important her music/rapping is to her. She feels as if her mother thinks it is a fad that Bri is interested in that will pass, but Bri thinks she wants to pursue music as a living.
