Other things that King mentions in the chapter, What Writing Is, include advice to limit paragraph length, the number of paragraphs, and to be aware of the white space on the page. These elements will give visual pleasure to the reader, and will not tire the reader with lengthy paragraphs, but rather with those that flow.
