Dick had planned to walk into the Blumenthal Party with Olga. However, he refused to go with her to her brother's fundraiser. Hoping to catch her when she arrives, he hangs outside making phone calls. Olga's assistant Meegan and her boyfriend arrive, and they persuade Dick to go in with them.
