How does Alicia become a spy for the Allies in the motion picture, Notorious?

T.R. Devlin first meets her when he appears at a party she holds soon after her father is sent to prison. She had planned to go away in order to avoid all the rumors about her father and her, but Devlin convinces her to become a spy for the Allies instead.
