Why does Mandisa fail to understand Sipho's feelings about cremation?

All in all, Mandisa fails to understand the African culture..... it wasn't the way she was raised. For her, cremation was a normal process in the event of a death, thus, she doesn't understand why Sipho was upset by her decision.
