After the plane crashed near Shanksville on September 11, 2001, there were news vans set up around the strip mine, outside the school, and along US Route 30. There were satellite dishes and food trucks and newspeople everywhere. There were people who just came to see the site of the tragedy and pay respect. There were conspiracy theorists, the curious, and the crazy. Then there were the families and friends of the victims of Flight 93.
