Who is Mrs. Bowman?

Mrs. Bowman wonders why the man who brought ConaLee and Miss Janet to the hospital did not register them. ConaLee tells Mrs. Bowman that Miss Janet walked away from her home after it was burned in a fire. ConaLee had been helping her, and she followed her. The man saw them walking and gave them a ride. He was not their relative.
