What has Armitage done to Case to ensure his loyalty?

Armitage has seen to it that special sacs full of mycotoxin have been implanted into Case's body. The sacs are slowly dissolving, and will release the poison unless Armitage injects Case with a special enzyme. Through this, unless Case follows Armitage's wishes, he will be right back where they found him.
