Why does Jack think Morton Hill Academy must have been a military school?

All of the buildings on the campus of Morton Hill Academy have military type names like Lexington Hall, Pershing Field, and Flanders Field House. The dormitories are named Fort O'Brien and Camp Keyes. With all these military names, Jack thinks that Morton Hill Academy must have been a military school.
