Who is Kira Wolde from My Soul to Keep and what is their importance?

Kira Wolde is the daughter of Jessica and David Wolde. Kira is very close to her father. When Kira is born, David quits his job in order to stay at home with her. He teaches her foreign languages. One day after Peter's death Kira upsets her mother by speaking to her father in French, a language that she knows her mother doesn't understand. Kira is killed when her father attempts to perform the Life Ritual on her but is stopped when the police shoot him.
