Jessica Jacob-Wolde is David's wife and mother to both Kira and Beatrice. She is the daughter of Beatrice Wolde. Jessica's father died in a car accident when she was very young. Jessica likes the cave on David's property because she believes that she is able to converse with her father in this cave. The main regret that Jessica has is that she was never able to show her father, who was highly intelligent, that she was smart.
