How did Sam get a falcon?

Sam scrambled and shimmied up a sheer cliff wall to the nest where the baby falcons were. He dodged the parents, and he grabbed a baby and tucked her in his sweater. Then he kicked out his foot to deflect the blow of one of the parents. He scrambled back down as best he could. When the falcon noticed there were still babies in the nest, she quit trying to attack Sam.
