What happens in Chapter 4 of My Brother Sam is Dead?

• One day a group of 20 Rebel soldiers arrives at the tavern and Tim hides in the woods to watch what they will do.

• The soldiers threaten Father and Mother and hit Father on the face with a sword when he does not relinquish the family gun.

• The soldiers do not believe Father when he tells the soldiers that Sam took the family gun to war.

• Tim finds Sam at Tom Warrups' shack, takes the gun from a sleeping Sam and runs away.

• Sam chases Tim and the brothers wrestle with Sam getting the gun away from Tim.

• Sam takes the risk of being seen at the tavern and accompanies Tim home where Sam cannot face his father and runs away.
